I know that life is still disrupted for many because of Covid-19. I trust that you, your family and friends will come though this OK. And yet, even with our attention to this virus, those of us with Osteopenia or Osteoporosis can not afford to neglect our bones..

So today I want to remind us all that the whole reason we do ANYTHING about bone loss is to prevent fractures. Fractures are not only painful but as we age they can be debilitating. You may already see where this newsletter is going. Yes, I want to urge you to devote 4 minutes a day to balance exercises....just 4 minutes. .

We know that we lose a % of our balance every year after age 35. AND we also know that we can rebuild our sense of balance by practicing balance exercises..

If you go to the Osteopenia3 web site. Click on Exercises and as you read the page, you will find that balance exercises are the first exercises discussed. But it is NOT enough to just read it....we need to practice it. And that takes planning..

If you decided a specific time of your day to do 3 minutes of balance exercises before or after a specific activity you do every day. practicing will become a habit. And you, unlike so many other persons, are not likely to fall as you age. Please. Just do it..
