Osteopenia, Osteoporosis October 2017 News
October 11, 2017
Hello,

October 2017 Osteopenia/Osteoporosis news

This is the first newsletter in awhile. Why? Two reasons. First, at 82 I have needed to give much of my attention to some other health issues of my own. And second, I want these newsletters to offer NEW information as often as possible and I have found that many of the recent research articles seem to be 'going over old ground'. .

But the web site has a number of new pages. Click on TREATMENTS and then click NATURAL treatments. As you scroll down the page, you will find many herbs listed - some old, some new.

1. Amla, a herb often used in India can be found online or in your local health food store. It is very mild.

2. Teas: Chamomile, Red clover and Sage are all good for bone building.

3. And then there is Teasel..... a powerful herb. I recently learned that Teasel is effective in lyme disease and since I have chronic lyme I began researching Teasel. . After consulting an herbalist I learned to go slowly with Teasel. It is very powerful and can cause a strong reaction if we go to fast. I was advised: 1 drop twice a day and if I 'got a reaction' to stay at 1 drop until any reactions (herxing) die down. Then I went to 2 drops and then 3. I have been a 8 drops for the last week or so. . If Teasel helps my bones as much as it is helping my lyme disease I will be very, very happy. You can find more information about Teasel at: https://www.osteopenia3.com/Radix-Dipsaci-Osteoporosis.html . .

Finally, I want to let you know that I am making changes to the web site.

#1. I have been re-coding pages so that they can be read more easily on cell phones and on tablets. . #2. I am going through the pages and adding a form where readers can write comments, share their experience with the Osteopenia treatments listed on the site. I realize that doing this will add to the work in maintaining the site. And yet, I believe that your experience(s) could be of help....could encourage another person. .

Since there are a couple hundred pages on the web site, it will take me awhile to get all the COMMENTS forms written and coded but I promise to work at it until the task is done. I hope that you will use these forms to share your experience(s) with others. .

Oh, I need to add that if you give the url of a web site in your sharing, I will check it out but will not include the url on the Comments page itself. Thanks for understanding. . Be well...I hope to have new things to share next month.

Kate
