Better Bones, Better Body by Susan Brown

This book was my introduction to every aspect of osteoporosis. First it taught me a new way to eat in order to maintain an alkaline body, necessary for building bone, and encouraged me to follow natural ways to build bone, rather than taking drugs.
Susan Brown worked in the osteoporosis research department of a university in Syracuse for about 20 years before leaving to consult. She has a PHD in medical anthropology and is a licensed nutritionist. Her blog is www.betterbones.com. She will consult with clients who opt to take drugs, but it's obvious her preferred approach to bone building is holistic.
Your blog, and Susan's have provided me with invaluable information re: bone health and I am so grateful!! I've passed your newsletter on to many friends!
I look forward always, to hearing from you!! Many thanks for your well researched information and encouragement!!
