TCM Osteopenia Osteoporosis

TCM Osteopenia Osteoporosis. Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the many different forms of medicine that exist around the globe. Most people from the UnitedStates, Canada and Europe are familiar with Allopathic medicine that emphasizes prescription drugs, surgery and other technical procedures to treat specific medical conditions.

Many of those used to the Allopathic medical tradition, look to TCM Osteopenia Osteoporosis to give them a specific herb or treatment that will reverse their bone loss. But justtaking a pill or supplement is NOT the way that TCM works. It follows an entirely different medical system.

If you want to use TCM you owe it to yourself to spend a bit of time getting at least a rudimentary understanding of how the system works, how Traditional Chinese Medicine views the human body, the causes of illness and how remedies are applied.

Importance of education

This is important. As you know from the AboutUs page, I am NOT a practitioner of TCM Osteopenia Osteoporosis - though I have consulted TCM practitioners for a number of health care issues and benefited from their ministration. But I have put together some basic information about TCM Osteopenia Osteoporosis for you.

After many months of searching I finally found a video series that is not all hype and offers clear explanations and solid background. I have also included links to some pages on thissite that discuss specific TCM treatments that have been subject to scientific studies and show to have a positive effect on bone growth and/or fracture prevention.

In the coming months I hope to add some pages to this section on TCM and bone density. There appears to be much more opennessto TCM among medical research facilities in the USA. And thereare now so many medical doctors and researchers in China trained in Western scientific approaches that there are many more articles about TCM being published in scientific journals. So, do return to this page again.

Obtaining supplies Sometimes readers contact me asking where to obtain individual herbs or supplements. Thus far I have found no reliable source online - other than those listed on the products page. In one sense this is helpful because it will encourage readers to contact a TCM practitioner for adviceand direction.

Most practitioners can provide you with the necessary herbs and concoctions and their advice for your specificsituation should be followed. TCM is a powerful system. It is not wise to use it without the necessary knowledge.
